The Challenge

In early 2022, a 14 hospital health system partner was short-staffed on their talent acquisition team and lacking bandwidth to meet hiring demands. Their team needed immediate support but with the ability to scale as needed throughout the year. Traditional recruitment models were either too rigid or too costly. The client turned to eHospitalHire to fill the gap quickly and cost-effectively.

Our Approach

We partnered closely with the client to deliver flexible support, focused sourcing, and seamless integration that adapted to their evolving hiring demands.

Hybrid RPO Model

We launched with a single recruiter and scaled support based on hiring volume and departmental pressure.

Targeted Sourcing

Our team focused on hard-to-fill clinical roles, especially nurses and support staff, using customized sourcing strategies and local market knowledge.

Personalized Outreach

Candidates were engaged through a mix of email, phone, and text, allowing for high-touch communication that reflected the employer’s brand.

Scheduling & Onboarding Support

As hiring volume increased, we added a scheduler and onboarding coordinators to ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and internal teams.

Weekly Reporting & Metrics

Regular productivity reports and candidate pipeline updates were shared with client stakeholders to maintain alignment and accountability.

Integration into Client Systems

Our recruiters operated inside the client’s ATS and participated in internal meetings as a true extension of the team.

The Result

Over a 12-month period, eHospitalHire sourced and hired 855 employees across nursing, support, allied health, and high-volume roles. The team flexed between 1 and 7 recruiters, along with support roles, depending on hiring demand. The engagement yielded a cost per hire of approximately $1,063, well below market averages for full-cycle, high-touch recruitment.
