The Challenge
Scaling EMR for Systemwide Launch - A major health system implementing Epic EMR across 10 hospitals needed to hire 320 healthcare IT and EMR professionals across a wide range of roles. The project was structured in two phases over 1.5 years, requiring timely sourcing of technical and clinical talent, from Analysts and Engineers to Trainers and Admins. Success depended on rapid scalability, strong alignment with hiring managers, and zero disruption to daily hospital operations.
Our Approach
To support a complex Epic EMR rollout, we delivered targeted healthcare IT staffing solutions across two waves of hiring. Our phased, collaborative model ensured seamless integration with internal teams and zero disruption to daily operations.
Wave 1: Core Implementation Team
We began by hiring foundational roles including Application Analysts, Engineers, and Project Managers. Leveraging our network of Epic-certified talent, we implemented screening tools and accelerated workflows to quickly deliver highly qualified candidates.
Wave 2: User Adoption & Support
As the system deployment expanded, we sourced and hired Trainers, Support Specialists, and additional Analysts. Prebuilt talent pipelines allowed us to move quickly, supporting adoption and system readiness across all 10 hospitals.

We worked closely with talent acquisition and department leadership in daily syncs to monitor progress, adjust sourcing strategies, and ensure alignment. Our team scaled support as needed, keeping recruitment moving without burdening internal teams.
